Mandala uses an Australian manufacturer so that quality is assured and monitored. Where possible, certified organic ingredients are always included, and indicated in the ingredients list.

All Mandala foundation powders offer broad spectrum SPF20+. SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is the rating that is assigned to sunscreen products. The rating indicates the ability of the product to absorb or reflect UV rays. In line with Mandala's philosophy to only produce products that are non toxic, ethical and environmentally responsible, Mandala only uses reflective sun blocking agents (Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide) and never chemical sun blocks (see ingredients to avoid).

All minerals are not created equal. Mandala only uses the highest quality ingredients, directly sourced from Australian suppliers ensuring the highest quality and durability. Mandala only uses Z-Cote Zinc Oxide, which provides superior sun protection and all round performance. All Mandala powders contain at least 50% Zinc Oxide & Titanium Dioxide (far exceeding most other brands).

Mandala offers 100% cruelty free and vegan approved brushes. No animal hair or animal product is used in the manufacturing of our brushes. They are hand made in the United States using a new and improved Taklon fibre. This fibre is super soft, hypoallergenic, dye free and safe for sensitive skin. They have minimal, if any, shedding, are easy to clean and dry quickly when wet. The fibres are made to mimic natural hair with irregular surfaces meaning better performance. These brushes are ethical, effective, attractive and perfect for mineral make up application.

Mandala is also committed to being green. All packaging can be recycled and we use recycled products with our day to day business activities. The make-up itself is made of non-synthetic particles with very little processing. The products are completely biodegradable and when the particles are washed from the skin and end up back in the environment they do not de-nature natural molecules they come into contact with. They are simply returned to the earth from whence they came! We are currently researching how to reduce our carbon footprint further and carbon neutral certification.
